I let Grace open it when I got home, and this made her think it was her birthday again! Not having the heart to tell her that today was not her birthday (and she would have to wait quite a while for that day to come around again!) I went with it and let her wear her birthday bib again.
And this made her REALLY excited until she asked for cake...
...and I had to tell her that we didn't have any! I know, I was asking for it by letting her think it was her birthday. This was just a harsh reality that I didn't want her to have to face at 2 years old, but I learned a good lesson and thank goodness she is still easily distracted!
