My class got a special treat yesterday. Jeffrey Earnhardt, the grandson of the late Dale Earnhardt, made visited our school. There are some perks to being the closest school to the Talladega Super Speedway (such as getting two race weekends off each year!). Jeffrey was so nice and patient with my students and they were overjoyed to meet a real race car driver! I wish I could show you all my students because although I haven't mentioned it on this blog much, they are a big part of my life! Just imagine 21 adorable faces.
