We spent the morning "Painting the Town Red" at Jacksonville State University's Homecoming. We met up with out friends Tabatha (my AOII Big Sister), her daughter, Claire Grace and another AOII friend, Nikki to watch the parade.
The girls loved the floats, the bands, and especially all the candy!
We may be banned from future parades for asking so many different people to stop and take pictures with our girls.
Grace was mesmerized by Cocky and couldn't look at the camera.
One of the homecoming attendants, Kristie, who is also an AOII.
Another Kristi, who is also an AOII, and also on homecoming court!
These brave akumnae are in the homecoming parade every year and wear the same attire no matter what the weather is.
The girls had so much fun dancing to the Marching Southerners.
We then went to tailgate and found a bouncy to play on.
The AOII's had a cook-out so we got to meet up with lots of old friends including Erin and her baby, Ava Grayce. I really felt like my Grace needed a double name at this point. Grace was very interested in her and kept saying "I want to pet her!"
Ava Grayce wasn't sure about all the commotion.
I was very nervous that these letters were going to come crashing down with Grace playing around them.
One last picture before Grace's melt down...
