Not to mention she has a bit of diaper rash! When we woke up on Sunday I saw that her left eye was completely matted up. Daddy took her to the doctor today, which by then had spread to the other eye. The medicine I picked up on the way home from school already seems to be helping. She has at least 4 new back teeth coming in and she is gnawing on anything she can get in her mouth. It was so hard to leave her early this morning.
That's one of the hardest parts about not being a stay-at-home mom - you can't always be there when you feel like you need to be. Luckilly in the almost 19 months (wow!) that Grace has been in this world we have always been able to work out having someone stay home with her when she wasn't feeling well, whether it's one of us or a grandparent. She has definitely been sicker this school year than last, and I'm sure that's all because she is mobile now and touching/playing with all her friends at school more than ever before. But all in all, we are healthy, happy and I have absolutely no right to complain!
