It's Friday so you know what that means!
Kelly's topic for this week is "Fashion Tips." Hmm... I'm obviously having a hard time with these so far this year! For starters, I have never had much fashion sense and I almost always need a second opinion before buying an outfit. I've often wished that I was brave enough to try the latest trend before all of my friends - but I some how manage to finally purchase the hottest item just as it is going on sale/no longer "in style." After Grace was born, I became a borderline "fashion disaster" where I pretty much only wore make up to work and was just happy if I could button my pants! I wasn't depressed (I was actually very happy!) I was just so caught up in juggling motherhood with my still fairly new career and fashion was the thing I let slide. I've now found myself starting to care more and more about clothes and style and wearing things that make me feel good about myself. And losing a few pounds has definitely helped!
So here it is... in my twenty-six years I have not found a better fashion tip than this: never, ever underestimate the power of a girdle!

My great grandmother was a firm believer in a girdle. She wore them her entire life.
Thanks for sharing.

I know exactly what you mean about not necessarily caring how you look after you have a baby!! I too am at the point, 6 months later, that I try my best to look my best everywhere I go! I ALWAYS have on my "suck in" gear as I call it on!! It doesn't matter how much weight we loose, I am determined my stomach will never be the same!
