Haha - You are probably already laughing and maybe even are already rolling on the floor thinking that I am going to give you diet tips! That is what Kelly's topic is for "Show Your Life" this week and you know I love to participate so I'll do the best I can. The only tip that I will throw out there is this: I have often heard that you shouldn't weigh yourself but maybe, once a week if at all when trying to lose weight. This does not work for me! If I weighed myself on just Fridays, for example, I would think that on Friday afternoon I could go order myself a basket of chicken fingers and french fries (with a niiiiiiice side of honey mustard!!) because I would not have to be "accountable" for another week. Weighing every single morning gives me immediate feedback. If I see that I've gained, I know to work a little harder and cut back on the snacks. This might not work for everyone and might even be a little frustrating because on the days that you lose, it can be a pretty small amount if at all. But having a constant indicator of progress is what I need and just seems to work best for me.
